The continental meeting place for the energy sector:
After ABIDJAN 2018, NIAMEY 2019, BAMAKO 2020, CASABLANCA 2021, then DAKAR 2022 and CONAKRY 2022, the Confédération Africaine de l’Electricité CAFELEC has decided to hold the 2023 edition of its ELEC EXPO Afrique trade fair in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from 12 to 14 July 2023.
Since its entry into force on 30/05/2019 and its operationalisation on 1st January 2021, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) brings together 53 States of the African Union with the aim of improving cooperation in the field of technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosanitary measures; the development of value chains at regional and continental levels; the strengthening of development traits and the industrialisation of Africa.
