About Us
The CNPE – Centre National de Promotion des Echanges du Cameroun is a non-governmental trade and investment promotion organisation, formed in 1995 with no capital in corformity with the 90/053 law of december 1990 relating to associations.. It is a member of several international organisations, among others:
- The Network of Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies of the International Trade Centre (ITC) UNCTAD/WTO;
- The Network of Trade Promotion Organisations of the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Francophone Africa;
- Potential member of the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) Mumbai, India.
Our Mission
As an organization for co-operation and development achievements, we adjust Cameroon to the rest of the world. We work towards optimising economic and trade opportunities, attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), promoting Cameroonian culture and its tourism potential.

Mission Statement
- Bringing a helping in the promotion of Cameroon’s economy, notably assistance to companies within the framework of internation’s trade and development of Enterprenership
operations in the sectors of commerce, industry, handy craft and small craft; - Concluding co-operation and partnership agreements with organizations with similar activities in the world.
Main Objectives
- Improving the inner management of the CNPE;
- Developing the processus linked to the management of human ressources of the CNPE;
- Promoting the National and regional economic activity of the private sector, reharsing the enterprenarial iniative, investment, export and partnership through the organisation of economic demonsrtrations;
- Improving the service quality of the CNPE;
- Assisting and supervising the circumscribed economic operations;
- Promoting the CNPE strategy in communication and economic information;
- Contributing actively in the reinforcement of co-operation and partnership relations with organizations acting in the domain of promotion of trade and investment;
- Reinforcing the role of CNPE in the network of organizations of promotion of trade and investment as well as other activities related to these section.

Targets
Any physical or moral individual coming directly or indirectly within the promotion, the implementation, the guiding or valoriation of the projects of commercial exchanges or investment. The following are particularly concerned:
- At the level of the state and institutional structures: planners and decision-makers, supervisors, trainers, animators, advisors in manaement.
- At the level of NGOs: promoters of grouping, supervisors, consultants, animators.
- At the level of companies operating in the areas of commercial exchange and investment: leaders, employer/self-employed.
Vision & Values
The CNPE is also and above all positioning itself in the prospecting of various forms of cooperation aimed at identifying all the possibilities of rapprochement by creating a symbiosis of action between the local promoter and the consumer of his product both within the country and on the international market.
The CNPE is substantially involved in promoting local development initiatives, supporting public administrations, private institutions and grassroots organisations working in the production of goods and services for export and for growth markets. It actively contributes to the strengthening of cooperation and partnership relations with organisations working in the fields of trade and investment promotion. To link, as far as the law allows, its perimeter of action to the regional and global network in order to increase its intervention capacity.
